Student-Led Mental Health Advocacy
The Whole
Athlete Project
Amplifying student-athlete voices to challenge mental health stigma and build healthier, more supportive sports environments in schools.
What is TWAP?
TWAP — The Whole Athlete Project — is a student-led initiative dedicated to addressing mental health stigma in school athletic systems. We believe that being a great athlete starts with being a healthy person, and that no student should feel alone in their mental health journey.
Through student-led advisory chapters, we bring together athletes, coaches, and schools to create real, lasting change — from the inside out.
Our Community
Student-athletes and advocates coming together to build something meaningful.
Our Mission
"Our mission is to amplify student-athlete voices by addressing mental health stigma and improving access to mental health resources within school athletic systems. Through student-led advisory chapters, we empower athletes to identify challenges, propose solutions, and advocate for healthier and more supportive sports environments."
